I must admit I've only done qemu the other way round (arm on IA) and only emulated real old things on my Pi. something about how wi does handles the USB that means it can't boot from one. Back on the first model B's, I saw a couple of emulated XP's using QEMU (and a lot of emulated dos/win 95's!)įrom what I saw the performance was hateful (x86 -> arm not so trivial) but the pi2b is the target now so it could be worth a try, however I'd probably not want to try and control machinery with it! I don't know about a USB stick though. Back when Pi was new people did a lot of that emulation stuff to gauge performance. ![]()
